Iran's 6th International Exhibition of Exchange, Bank and Insurance closed on 11 May 2012 after four eventful days. The Exhibition was opened to public on 8 May 2012 in Tehran's International Exhibitions Center.
The event gathered most of the Iranian, as well as some foreign capital market participants, including issuers, brokers, exchanges, regulators, associations, investment companies and banks, investors, financial service providers, IT specialists, and all interested parties in the Center.
Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) was settled in Hall # 35, and some meetings were conducted between TSE's authorities and other Exchanges' representatives, such as Belorussia, Turkey and Pakistan markets. The parties stressed on strengthening the mutual cooperation.
Like most of the participants in the Exhibition, Tehran Stock Exchange held training, socializing and discussion programs. The workshops and one to one meetings served to raise awareness of visitors and investors about the Iranian capital market. Totally, about 140 workshops were held during the Exhibition.
The second "Capital Market Caricature Show" was also held besides the main event, demonstrating more than 100 artworks from 40 domestic and foreign artists. Caricaturists from Sweden, Canada and Spain joined their Iranian counterparts in this section.
