2nd February 12, London: Gartner’s latest report on “APM (Application Performance Monitoring) Innovators: Driving APM Technology and Delivery Evolution” gave a special mention to ITRS Group plc for its focus and expertise in developing technology uniquely appropriate to APM for financial institutions and their trading and risk management applications.
Gartner issues a Magic Quadrant for APM every year; this year’s included a supplement entitled, ‘APM Innovators: Driving APM Technology and Delivery Evolution’. The supplement listed companies whose product in the APM market was highly noteworthy for a particular aspect.
Gartner pointed out that in the world of APM one size does not necessarily fit all and many key business applications require highly specialised monitoring. ITRS originated from the world of banking and trading, developing its Geneos platform from the ground up, specifically to meet the needs of the financial services industry.
ITRS is the leading global provider of predictive, real-time application performance monitoring technology to the world’s financial markets; the report, authored by Gartner’s Research Vice President Will Cappelli and Research Director Jonah Kowall, highlights the ITRS Geneos focus on financial markets, which sets it apart from industry-neutral vendors.
Kevin Covington, CEO of ITRS Group, said, “It is an enormous boost for our team to have gained recognition in this way from Gartner and validates our current development path. We shall continue to expand the functionality of Geneos to meet the ongoing requirements of our industry and the mushrooming need for APM solutions.”
