Solution Delivers More Than 50 Percent Less Latency than Industry Standard 10Gb Ethernet Network

SUPERCOMPUTING, SALT LAKE CITY, and COSTA MESA, Calif., November 13, 2012 – Emulex Corporation (NYSE:ELX) today announced a partnership with Gnodal, an Ethernet network switch provider, to deliver a solution that eliminates network congestion and latency, addressing the needs of high frequency trading (HFT) environments. The Emulex OneConnect® 10Gb Ethernet (10GbE) Network Xceleration™ (NX) OCe12000-D adapters, with FastStack™ DBL software, powered by Myricom, and a Gnodal GS4008 10GbE switch, enables lower latency (in User Datagram Protocol [UDP] testing) by as much as 57 percent, and in Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) testing , by 47 percent, when compared to a standard 10GbE switch.
